This is my home bar and man cave - The Piggery.
It's a home bar, cinema party room and games room all rolled into 1.
I completed it in March 2020 (just as lockdown happened). Its been a labour of love for me.
It's called The Piggery due to when I cleared the land at the top of my garden to build it, I found an old piggery!
It's a summer house shell 24ft x 16f, and then I insulated it, have done the electrics, 19 double sockets, water hot and cold sink, cladded the walls for a rustic look with over 500 boards, hand made the bar, used apple crates bolted to the wall to hold bottles and spirits, beamed internet with a WiFi bridge system from the house, router and data cabling. The whole place is a set up to be smart with all lighting, bar pumps, ice machines, kareoke, TV and 120 inch cinema screen with surround sound Sonos speakers all controlled with your voice.
It has a Beer machines by blade and PD with a guiness surger, heinekin green beer fridges, keg cooler, ice crusher, ice maker and much more.
Outside I have a P.I.R set to all the lights framing the piggery so whenever you step outside in the dark it lights up the whole area with a string of ambient bulbs.
I have a smaller 6x4 shed on the side called The Piglet, this is a ladies toilet with sink, then round the back it's a mens urinal.
I've installed a diesel heating system and ducted heat pipes round the internals so even in -10 winter times with snow everywhere, it's a snug 22 degrees in the piggery.
I'm a digital installer by trade so this expo is right up my street.
Everyone who comes thinks The Piggery is amazing and unlike anything they've ever seen.
We have recently built a 20ft patio outside and large seating area with fire bowl and pizza oven.
